CV 212

The CV 212 is a powerful yet compact 2-way passive loudspeaker, designed to fulfill the most demanding requirements in a wide range of PA, monitoring and installation applications.

Two 12” woofers mounted in a fine-tuned vented housing, generate twice SPL levels over the lower frequencies, while keeping ample headroom for maximal performance. In addition, a 1.4″ compression driver with horn covers the mid and high frequencies for defined reproduction across the entire audible frequency range. With a continuous power handling of 800 W (3,200 W peak) and a sensitivity of 100 dB (1W/1m), this speaker is capable of delivering high quality sound with a wide dynamic range up to a maximum sound pressure level of 141 dB.

The CV 212 is equipped with a rotatable horn that allows the vertical and horizontal coverage to be swapped. The two speakON® NL4 connectors simplify cabling and signal distribution. In addition, the special housing design offers various set-up options and orientations. Handling and installation is as easy as it is safe thanks to the ergonomic handles, the M10 flying points, the M20 pole mounting support and the CV 212 UB U-bracket.

From live sound events to theaters and houses of worship, either as a floor, standing or suspended sound system, many venues and applications benefit from this exceptional loudspeaker. CV 212 can be expanded with SE subwoofers such as CV-118B, CV-218B, B 18 or B 21.
