SE AUDIOTECHNIK at the Motzstrassenfest in Berlin
Many associations, institutions and traders joined in on 16.07.2022 at the 27th Lesbian-Gay City Festival – also better known as “Motzstraßenfest” – in the traditional Schöneberg gay neighbourhood. This festival is the largest of its kind in Europe. The two-day event marks the beginning of “Pride Week”, which ends with the big parade on Christopher Street Day next Saturday.
And Schalldruck from Berlin was at the start and animated the participants to dance with our 12x M-F3A PRO, 8x B 15A and 3x B 21A from SE AUDIOTECHNIK. 3000 visitors celebrated to techno beats thanks to powerful and great bass.
"It was bombastic and really gut"

"Cardioid" constellation
The special feature of this setup was the B 21A, which were operated in “cardioid” mode under the centre of the stage. A classic cardioid directional sound dispersion pattern for woofer systems is achieved by arranging three subwoofers in a 2:1 ratio with appropriate DSP-supported control. This means that two subwoofers are directed towards the audience and one subwoofer is placed backwards. This significantly reduces the level of the sound that is emitted to the rear, e.g. onto the stage. Under half-room conditions, such as outdoors, a rearward attenuation of up to 20 dB can be achieved. This results in less unwanted sound and a differentiated and precise reproduction. The B-Line subwoofers from SE AUDIOTECHNIK, equipped with integrated DSPs and amplifiers, already have everything on board that is needed for a “Cardioid” arrangement. Simply select the “Cardioid” mode and set up the speakers as described. The subwoofers will take care of the rest.
